So let us start by looking at the actual logo. Capital NO,
what appears to be the number 8, and capital DO.
The
capital letters are definitely what they appear but it is the 8 in the middle
that makes for a fuller meaning. So, is it the number 8 or is it maybe an
infinity symbol. No. It is actually representative of a skein of wool. You may
be asking, what is a skein of wool? Well according to www.feedictinary.com it
is defined as- a length of thread or yarn wound in a loose long coil.

Now the
translation of skein into Spanish is- madeja. So put together is is
NO-madeja-DO. Okay so fine it means No skein of wool do? Not likely. When you
say it all quickly and with the lovely Andalusian accent it actually sounds
more like-"No me ha dejado," meaning... "She has not abandoned
me". This is the motto of Sevilla. Why?
Stay tuned as I continue my research........
